Ties between Taiwan and the UK getting stronger

The British representative of Taiwan has said that relations between the country and the UK are improving as a result of hard work and continuous exchanges.
David Campbell, the director of the British Trade and Cultural Office (BTCO) and the country’s official representative to Taiwan, said that there has been a significant increase of trade flow and investments, resulting in improved bilateral ties between the two countries.

BA will fly majority of routes after strike

Europe’s third biggest airline, British Airways (BA), said that it will operate the majority of its flights from Heathrow Airport after a second walkout of cabin crew ended at midnight.
BA cancelled a hundred of its flights when its staff made a three-day strike this week and last. The walkout, which began on 20 March, was eventually followed by four more days of work stoppage. The UK national carrier is now facing a threat of more industrial action next month if the company fails to forge a decision about the fate of 12,000 workers.

Australians name British Airways as least-favourite airline

Australian’s have voted against the group that once claimed it was the world’s favourite airline, with a new survey naming the embattled carrier as their least-favourite airline on which to travel to the United Kingdom.
British Airways finished in last place of the customer satisfaction survey conducted by travel consultancy specialists Choice. Australia’s national carrier fared little better, receiving poor scores for its British service.
